Light refreshments provided.  Join us as we discuss the everything from working with schools and nurses, creating 504 plans, vacation and traveling with diabetes, treating low blood sugar levels, handling sick days and many other concerns of dealing with a child who has type 1 diabetes.  Also, find out more about becoming a JDRF Mentor to assist other families needing support.

Are you a parent of a type 1 diabetic and looking for a support group to attend?  A new support group in Branson is starting on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 6:30pm.

This group will meet on the first Tuesday of every month beginning in June from 6:30pm-8:30pm in the Edwards Jones Branson office off of Highway 248 in the Welk Plaza.  Childcare is available for diabetic children only and must be requested in advance.
